In the past few years the consumption of smoothies has increased enormously in Austria. Every third consumer drinks smoothies regularly. This creates new challenges for gastronomy and hotel industry: The preparation of a real smoothie, which has a high proportion of whole fruit pieces, is not just time- but also cost-intensive.
„We have realized this problem in gastronomy and are offering with Smoozy Suzy a top quality and natural smoothie.“, stated both managers Robert Scholz and Markus Schmidl the idea about Smoozy Suzy. Together with experts from fruit processing-, drinks-, gastronomy- and the deep-freezing section our smoothie, Smoozy Suzy, was created.

While the sales volume on fruit juices declines, the smoothie-market increases rapidly. Austrians prefer to drink smoothies as a snack or as a healthy component with their breakfast. With Smoozy Suzy different applications can be covered in gastronomy and hotel industry: Either in a café, or at the cocktail-bar, at the breakfast-buffet, as a welcome drink or as a basis for desserts – we found a special solution to enjoy Smoozy Suzy in every occasion all-year-round.
